SELECT 2010 Graduation Ceremony

Congratulations to our first SELECT Programme graduates!

The graduation ceremony of the first batch of SELECT students took place on December 18, 2012 at Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH) in Stockholm, when the SELECT Class 2010 celebrated its graduation.

Dr. Thomas Nordgreen , SELECT MSc Programme Director, opened the ceremony by welcoming the students and the SELECT faculty. He also expressed his great pleasure in observing the first batch of young students, highly skilled in sustainable energy systems, global thinking and public responsibility, graduating from the SELECT MSc programme.

After the introductory speech, Prof. Torsten Fransson, SELECT Coordinator and InnoEnergy Education Director, was the next speaker and congratulated all graduates for their efforts.

Assoc. Prof. Viktoria Martin, former SELECT Programme Director, came on stage and congratulated all SELECT students for their great achievement. She expressed that the first intake of MSc SELECT, have shown that great learning and personal development can be achieved by an educational collaboration with participants from all over the world. She thanked all the graduates for their contribution and help in establishing the SELECT spirit.

The ceremony then continued with awarding the Erasmus Mundus degree diplomas to the students. A brochure covering all the SELECT 2010 student’s activities during their studies was also handed to everyone to retain memories and gained friendships.

 The ceremony was ended by an official dinner in Gamlastan (old town) in central Stockholm.
